A very sobering image - made more so by the fact that it's in B&W....

Hi Enric
A very poignant scene, and your note underlines the thousands of tragic stories that could be told.
I wonder how this would look in colour? Converting to black-and-white is the "obvious" thing to do: all of the photos we grew up with were black and white, it seems appropriate to make that conversion. But some of the most compelling and touching documentary footage and photographs I have ever seen of the Second World War was in colour - more powerful because it moved 'history' into a modern context and made it feel so immediate and real.
Just my thoughts - a break in tradition maybe?
