This is really an exceptional autumn image. The glass-like water provides an almost mirror-image reflection of these horizontal bands of colorful foliage. Wonderful natural graphics, sharp and well-composed. Nice work.

This is a beautiful shot with fabulous soft autumnal colours but, as usual, with fantastic sharpness and clarity.

It puts me in mind of some pictures which have been posted, particularly on TE, of "inverted reflections". Examples are pictures such as this and this by Gunnar Holmertz (saxo042) and this one by Peter Geldart (graffer). I find these images quite interesting, now and again.

Nice to see another example of your superb work, Dougie!

I think you had to be lucky as when I was at the loch in the morning it was very windy your shot is remarkable the water is so calm it is like glass showing the reflection nicely the autumnal colours are beautiful well done.
