[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken at Ahina-Kinau Natural Area Reserve at the island of Maui. Those are lava rocks that stopped and cooled off at sea level from now dormant Haleakala volcano east of Maui.

This place is south west of Hana. Just like Hana it is defined by what it lacks, golf courses, shopping malls, massive hotel structures and Mcdonald's. You will find little of what passes as progress in this area.

Hi Andre:
Great contrast & composition on this capture, a loer contrast might give you a bit of more details but this image has its own effect and I do like it:)

Hi Andre,
Thanks for the useful note. Yea... I can see the rocks, but the trunks, its colours and details are attracted me more. Good scene anyway. TFS. Sincerely, Imelda
