Critiques [Translate]

Great composition and perspective. Nicely framed. TFS.

thanks for the share, Nelson,

Actually, i'm going to disagree with the first "critiquer" as I don't think the composition is all that great. The top of the minaret is touching the top of the frame, there should be an element of empty space above it, to make it more visually attractive and balanced.

In addition, there is some object intruding into the left edge of the image. That could have been corrected either when taking the shot or with a simple crop in pp work.

Finally, I think the image needs something like a half degree clockwise rotation, using the top line of the distant wall as a guide.

Not bad Nelson - a few things could improve this view though.

Firstly the whole image looks like it's tilted to the left - this can be straightened in PS.
Secondly the object in the left FG is a bit intrusive - either crop it out or make the frame slightly bigger to hide it.
Thirdly the top of the minaret is too close to the top edge of the frame - I think when you took the photo you could have panned the camera up slightly more as there would be lot of FG still in the scene..

Hope this helps
David

Edited to say that I have only just seen Richard's critique after I submitted mine and it's interesting to see that he makes the same points..
