This is another view of Talla reservoir from the burn this time which drops quite rapidly in a series of waterfalls to the valley below. There were a lot of cyclist going about that day and some had stopped to watch us take photo's, must have thought we were mad.

This is 3 shots taken in raw and merged in photomatix cropped and sharpened in pspx1 before uploading.

ISO 100
F4.5
Exposure -.7, 0, +.7
Shutter speeds 1/80, 1/125, 1/200

Hi Jon,
Nice PoV for this shot of the reservoir, the colours are good and the view of the rolling hills take your eyes into the scene. TFS

Hi Jon

You must still be using the holes from the tripods from TL meeting earlier this year.
Like the colours of the hills in this one.

Hi again Jon,
This is a nice shot all round.

Good natural colouring to the scape, and an excellent lead in using the rocks in the foreground to naturally have the eye follow the valley into the distant mountain range.

Surprising depth of field considering the aperture, but a good contrasty, punchy shot with good clear details and focus.

like it,

well done,

Martin

Hi Jon,
a lovely view of the Scottish Highlands. I like the way you composed this one with the boulders in foreground and the distant lake.
