[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have posted a colour version like this ages ago, But I am working on developing my PP skills and was converting to Black and white, I really liked the result. the shot has been cropped then coverted to B+W
There has been NO manipulation of the sky, I burnt the foreground but other than channel mixer and a curves adjustment layer( only very minor lift of the levels).

A little mazed by the sky, surreal really. Great perspective. Well done

You create an interesting mood in this cloudy sky.
My regards

Worth the revisit Andy.

Well converted image, mind you the original gave you a lot to play with :-)

Love the sky and the composition is spot on great use of rule of thirds.

I've not seen the colour version of this image you refer to but having seen the b&w version I don't think I would enjoy it as much. The textures are magnificent across the whole image. The sky is so interesting as others have commented, but even the sandy foreground is interesting because of the textures. The composition and contrast are also well captured. Thanks.

Andy if this you just working on your skills when you get it right you will amazing this is a fantastic composition of Bamburgh the sky is amazing tfs
