Nice colour and compo by 1/3rds.. Good effort with the exposure in this mixed lighting situation - hard to do well... Tiniest bit of OE on some of the leaves to the right but as I say - difficult and tricky lighting..

Hi Julie, my friend!

Another wonderful capture of the autumn colors with golden tones!
The sharpness and POV are perfect and DOF is very well managed here. The colors are perfectly natural and the dark trunks of the trees, give great contrast to the golden colored leaves.

Good use of a shallow dof with excellent bg sharpness & amazing Fall colors of gold contrasting well against the splashes of green. Superb repetition of the vertical tree trunks. Tfs!

Hi Julie,

The bright fall colors are nicely captured in this forest shot. During my walk in the woods last weekend I heard critters off in the distance, but didn't see anything either. As dark as it was I probably wouldn't have got a decent shot anyway. Happy TGIF!

That's what I call golden autumn, Julie, wow, that's a fantastic place.
I like it so much.
We don't have colourful trees here in Germany this year, most trees are still green or already naked.
