Peter Gabriel's "Secret World"
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
On a different theme:
World famous musician/arranger Peter Gabriel in concert with bassist, Tony Levin, and drummer Jerry Marotta, Milwaukee, June, 2003.
Funny story: There were absolutely no cameras allowed in the concert unless you held a stage pass, or some other related official document. I made up my own press pass on my computer from an old A.P. identification badge I had, laminated it and pinned it to my shirt. When approached by security guards who were going to confiscate my camera, I flashed the phony I.D. They apologized and asked if I would like an escort to go back stage! I didn’t. I was satisfied with my seating location as it was. |

A classic indeed Joe! Funny story too. A very unusual look; is this pp work?

HAHAHA!! You are brilliant!! I love it! A true photographer you are! I did the same thing after Hurricane Ike hit Galveston. I posted PRESS on my truck, with paper and tape!(haha!) and drove wherever I wanted to and took pictures of the destruction! Job #1 GET THE SHOT!...worry about arrest, strip searches and jail time later! While this is grainy a bit, low light is normal, you are lucky you had some white light here, instead of the red/blue nightmare I shot at the Marc Broussard concerts Thursday night in Austin and Saturday night in New Orleans! I did have back stage passes and DID go backstage to meet him! What fun! Nice work! Love to read your stories!
