Foto lindissima de um lugar relamente paradisiaco!!!! Muito bem feito Francisco. E voce realmente fez bem feito com as sombras e a luz. Areia e um refletor poderoso e voce a "domou" bem . excelente POV e o homen so faz a cena parecer ainda mais grandiosa

Very good natural graphism, Francisco! I love the organic swerves of the little lake and the curves of the dunes. Due to the combination of the three main colors and the shadow play it also looks kinda nicely unreal. Very good.

A lake in the desert with the shape of a boomerang! I can hardly believe that such a thing exists. Very good; a landscape for the surrealistic painter.

fantastic picture, it's like in a dream with this strange sky, not empty, and the shadow of the cloud in the sand... wonderfull! The most important : you have a human size reference in the first ground. Congratulations and TFS.

Excellent shot! I really like the strong contrasting colours here, and the almost surreal nature of the scene. The cloud and its shadow add an extra element. The man standing at the water's edge improves it still further. The only thing I find myself wondering is whether a wider or vertical format shot showing more of the cloud would be an improvement? As it is I find the cloud slightly chopped, if you see what I mean. Anyway, that's a very minor point, this is a wonderful capture :-D

Amazing photo. The contrast in colour works well. I like the shadows and the little bit of light on the horizon. Again creates a nice contrast against the dark blue of the sky. Great!!!

Pois é chicow, este passeio é meu sonho de turismo, faz tempo que estou tentando visitar os lençóis quem sabe daqui a pouco...mas falando da sua foto ela esta fantastica, a composição, a profundidade de campo e as incriveis cores que o espetacular lugar proporciona e vc soube captar legal..fantasticas tb as luzes e sombras. Wow! This is a great shot Francisco. The depth you've captured is amazing. The colours are beautiful. The green water against the expanse of sand looks great. The colour of the sky looks great too, the blue is perfect. The light is also well balanced all through. Great capture. TFS.

Wow never seen anything like this. A boomerang shaped lake in the middle of a desert?? Like Huub just said and to make it more dramatic a huge shadow on the other half ! Want to see more !! Thanks for sharing this one!!

It's look so fragile... I mean... We all need water. It's the real value... Forget petrol... If there was just a gallon of water who is enough clean to drink in all the world... Even all the petrol of the world will have no value to bye that gallon of water.

And here... It give the feeling... that in 2 weeks... it will be avaporated!

But you say that it's raining often... SO what's happen to the plants, the cultivable ground?

Hi! Francisco,
This is a great capture which is supported by wonderfull shadow play. The curved lake edges keep you within the scene.
I too wonder if a vertical format would enhance this great shot. I did a WS to adjust the highlight colour as I think it looked a little yellow. I removed the driftwood as I thought it took from the main character. You could crop the image and do the same.
