At the bottom of Manhattan, just below the financial district is Battery Park. With a decent yet distant view of the Statue of Liberty this park is visited by thousands. These many are comprised of tourists and local office workers in a New Yorkled state of mind, who might pass by for a quick outdoor lunch or just to get away from it all. Unfortunately there aren't any trees or shelter on the walk closest to the water. All of the vegetation is within the park itself, away from where the docks are.

a nice picture good composition it great to see items that are photographed all the time from a new prespective. maybe reduce the foreground light levels
abyhow well done
Hi Anatoly... PP... Charcoal effect? I like this one... Without the effect might be the upper part would have looked out of the picture but with it looks like a compliment :) I like the transition from dark-light-dark... Nice capture of the rays... I can see it midly... Good one... Thanks for sharing :)
Take care...

Great observation and compo. I like the framing you used with its emphasis on Lady Liberty. I did a workshop for the fun of it. I wanted to make it look stage-like.
I hope you like it.
Once again for me a perfect composition.
The dark sides, people and there on background the sculpture..For sure States is a great place for photographers..
Greetings..
