|I saw this gull coming towards me rather quickly, and I didn't trust my Tamron 70-300mm lens to autofocus on it at all so I used manual focus here. This resulted only in an approximate focus, but it didn't turn out all that bad. The mood in the photograph I think compensates for the lack of focus on the bird, but that's only my opinion. I'd appreciate any comments/critiques you might have.|

I agree that the blur effect creates a dream like mood, and the white haze surrounding the gull adds to that. Effective vignette framing and composition.
I think this is so pretty, even with the soft focus Nikhil. The overall composition and color is wonderful. TFS, Lori
