[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is part of the imperial war museum north, built a few years ago so that the north of England would have a reminder of the history of war. The cynic might think they built it as they didn't have enough room in the imperial war museum in London due to the wars that have happened since that was first built.

The building and the site as a whole has quite a cold, menacing feel; the entrance is not at first pleasant, but cold and stark, and only when you walk through 'no mans land' are you greeted by lights and brochures.
On this photo, did the architect want us to imagine how the bolts could be columns of men, uncountable numbers, marching to war?

PP: USM, cropped.

Wonderfull graphic effect here Bryan. It could be cropped a litle bit in the top and i think mabye some more contrast and light would bring it out even more. i don't know if i would have liked a wider DoF. The angle, showing us the wall in this plane is very good indeedn. It anhances your note very well.

An impressive perspective view Bryan...it gets our "revetting" attention if you will pardon the pun :-)I think the image would be more powerful by cropping out the opposite angles on the left and perhaps the top sky opening.

Very interesting work here, Bryan...
I like the plain color and your framing/angle are so great. Very nice work.

Well seen graphics and a nice composition. Your association to marching men is well found too!

But to debate the beginning of your note, how would it have looked to the public if they had built a museum with room left for future wars?

An interesting shot, Bryan, and a good accompanying note. Excellent detail in the foreground - the lines of bolts are very sharp. Great angle. Well done.

Great angle. Very very artistic shot because of its graphical effect. I like the colors too. Simple yet engaging.

Very good graphical composition that fits in well with the title. Although an uninviting building, it's more than welcome here as photography art. Well seen angle.

Dear Bryan, I gave points, because I do not want to steal your time reading my :-(( opinion. I miss the texture of this panels (?), metal shine or so... It tells dotsa were added accurately... no light effect, no composition. I am studying the other comments, and on a way try to learn from you... I wanna enjoy, but how...

Wonderful perspective shot, Bryan. I like the POV very much. Excellent pattern, and very good low contrast. very well done.

excellent perspective and graphical effect, well done Bryan
