|.... I have been watching this field of multi sorted flowers for weeks now. Every time in the morning and in the evening when I passed it, some more sunflowers were open and blooming but I decided to wait until I see all of them looking into the morning sun. Now - we just had a thunderstorm here with incredible heavy rain and gusty winds for approx. 30 minutes. Water and wind brought most of the smaller flowers down and even some of the stron sunflowers. They all look sad and torn now. Seems I have been waiting too long to take the picture - and I know - nobody can turn back time (which is good)!|
Anyway TL coposters- keep dry while shooting - the sun will come back again soon.

A beautiful capture from sunflower in their own Riviera!
Great clarity and perfect focus on the flowers in the FG.
Marvelous management of light and great contrasts exist within the scene.
Hello Thomas,a good PoV and good DoF to give us these beautiful sunflowers. The composition is well balanced with three flower heads in the fg and the bud just waiting to burst open.
These flowers do not seem to have suffered too much in the storm.
Tfs, regards Jean.
