[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This old Loading-dock is standing lonely in the Danube bed near to Esztergom since 1963. when the nearby mine had stopped the coal production. This was the place where the coal was stowed into barges between 1927-1963.
Now this structure is an art relic but still stands isolated without renovation.

PP: When I saw this interesting structure first
I decided to make it B&W but then realized that
this effect which is kind of like "sepia"
is better for showing its age! What'ya think?

Hi Tom,
Nice photo. I like the colors. You right, the sepia tones really give a strong impact in this photo. I can see the loading-dock structure still in good condition. The composition is great too. Nice job, Tom!

thanks for this very well captured gift for TL!
you right about sepia, of course
how it's massive on a bottom and so unsteady on a top!
yes, it very much needs reconstruction, you right__
sometimes i'm in our country watching old churches and want to do it with my hands !!!
thank you for sharing ,Tom

Hello ToM,

Very nice picture. Good composition and really interesting object.
I am just wondering who is living there... Hmm... Elfs? Dwarfs? No, rather not...Hmm... maybe Witch? Who knows. Be careful next time. I'd like to see much more of your photos.

take care

dimeola

Szia Tom!!
This is quite an unusual structure... I've been looking at it for a while and I swear that it really looks like it's about to fall at any second now. Your choice of sepia makes it look even older and more dramatic.
I like the way you've composed the shot, framing it with the tree branches.
Well done,

Ana

Impressive photo with unusual subject. The warm colours makes soft atmosphere, but this old dock looks little frightening.
Great POV.

I do not why but I would not trust that structure too much! It looks like so fragile the way you are presenting it to us! Beautiful picture! Excellent usage of the sepia! Nice compostion! Great shot! Michel

Trčs intéressant témoigne du passé industriel de la Hongrie …
Le ton sépia lui confčre un petit air old fashion …
Köszönöm Tom

Hi Tom,
nice catch! good POV and compo, too! I love the sepia tone here, maybe just a little bit more of the yellow and less of the red tone, to make it look even older, but it's great anyway! and the sky you caught looks really dramatic,
congr!

Hi Tom, good decision on converting this picture to sepia tone. I like the composition, very different from many others, well seen, regards, Iris

Great shot Tom, nice composition, I like the colours tone, soft and warm. It does look lonely by itself, it is interesting building. Never see one like that before. Very well captured, thanks for sharing.

Hi ToM,
nice composition, colours and detail... PERFECT :)

la couleur sépia adoucit l'architecture du batiment. photo originale sous cet angle

Very strong composition and is well framed by the branches.
The sepia works well to create the rusty metal feeling...:)

Perfect point of view. The contrast between the slab of concrete and the flimsy superstructure is very exciting. Perfect.
