[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is in the middle of nowhere in the Gobi desert. It was at a herder's winter camp, so there was no one around for miles and miles in June. I took the original photo in B/W, then solarized it on PS, increased the brightness, then added the redish tint.

Excelent photo Mike. I like the idea, the title and the result. well done.

Bravo pour cette première photo sur TL.
On dirait vraiment la lune.
Bien fait.
Jean louis.

The effect is awesome. Really looks like the moon scenes taken by NASA in the 60's.

Very cool other-worldly feel to this. Nice minimalist composition and a great sky. Cheers Mike!

I can imagine what you will do with your digital, Mike. I think you just begin to show in TL, be sure I will follow your work !
Little secret: >perhaps I'm a little bit reactionary....I prefer traditional cameras, even don't knowing nothing about.
Your scanner, your PS work or your eye makes miracles!
Bravo!

Very creative and innovative Mike, I like this shot, It really does look like a shot of something on the moon.
The composition here is perfect, excellent subject, your post processing is also very good.
Well done, good work.

nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Mike and welcome to TL. I like the effect you have created here. The dark colours suit the landscape and the presentation is good. Incredible detail shown in the foreground. TFS,
