I am always looking to see how flowers present differently with a variety of light. This bloom was darkened from the evening light but illuminated with artificial lighting.

Hi Steve

The olive green & yellow are an unusual colour combination which is not often seen & they work well here. Good sharpness & narrow dof with effective tight framing. Good sharpness on the yellow stamens. Have a happy Sunday!

Bom dia Steve,

Light is life, is the principal element of photograph and your shot is full of a magnificent light!
Colors are warm and beutiful, focus is very good, frame, very nice.

Parabéns!

Bom dia Steve,
What a great challenge you imposed to capture a flower almost in the dark and clear it with only with a front light.
The result is good, very good. Very impressive image.
Love it,
R.

Hello Steve,

Excellent result on this flower with the artificial light. I like the sharp details in the middle of the flower surrounded by warm tones a bit blurred. This leads the eye directly in the middle of the flower.

Best rtegards

Jacques

Hi Steve,
Beautiful warm artificial lighting you caught here reflecting on this splendid flower. I like the macro approach from such an agreeable POV. Perfect details in the heart of the flower. Nice framework to compliment.
My best regards,

Francis Xavier

Hi Steve, once again you have given your distinctive style to this beautiful shot. The tight crop is perfect, and the lighting has produced an unexpected range of colours.
The textures come across particularly well.

[Not a criticism at all, but I wonder how the shot would look with a white frame, just interested.]
Regards Jean.
