[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Recently while driving around I came upon this interesting site at a scrap metals facility. The thought occurered to me that someone might have been late in receiving an important parcel and took drastic measures! I have often wondered what became of these used trucks as I have never seen one converted to peddle snack foods or deliver laundry! I guess if the body is made of aluminum, it finds its way into beer cans and the like!

Technical:
Enhanced color and contrast, attempted to add some color to a colorless sky, cloned out undesirable clutter and resized for TL.

Thanks for looking.

Well! We have not had a post from you in a while and here you are with this incredibly crisp shot of a junked UPS truck. How funny, John....Now we know why the drivers are always in such a rush....they probably wind up in that junked truck, too!!!!

Funny post and great to see it. Nice POV looking up at the truck. Keep up the good work.....:O)

Wow, John, you'd never see this in my country !

Great shot (I used to work for one of their main competitors, teehee).

This photo with your note is very funny and will put me to sleep with a smile. Thank you for taking that shot and giving it the right note.

Funny note and title is fitting. I would want to see the sky less exposed. The erasures you made on the tree looks unreal. anyhow, its a funny pic and thanks for sharing.

Ha Ha

btw, this is well done and well thought of, I can understand why mail doesn't always get to us now :)

Well done. Yan

Now I know why I always chose DHL. That really is a funny shot, John, and the angle is terrific. The white parts seem a bit burned though. I think you could have worked a bit on the contrast and the color balance.

Hi John !
The capture, the frame, the note...
Excellent work !
All the best,
Rui

I wish you a Merry Christmas

John, Love it! So many possibilities..."What can Brown do for you?" hehe. They are really on top of things. ;-)Their trash is your treasure, etc, etc. This is a perfect example of the Rule of Thirds. I like how it goes from the order of the picket fence to the chaos of the trash pile. I also like what you tried to do with the sky color, although you might have tried to mask off the the tree by selecting it with the magic wand then inverting the selection so the blue wouldn't bleed over. Thanks for reminding us that a great shot can be found anywhere!

That's a small fence, to control such a large heap of scrap metal, John... Well spotted indeed. They sure use distinctive vans, don't they ?
