Tear The Roof Off The Sucker
Pic shot at Paradiso Amsterdam, the only rock temple, in the literal meaning of the word, Holland has. Paradiso is a former Dutch Reformed church converted to rock podium decades ago.
It is 30 minutes before George Clinton and his Parliament/Funkadelic familiy would come on stage for a spectacular 3 ½ hour marathon concert and I guess that that this Parliament ‘Tear The Roof Off’ songtitle / funk chant wasn’t far from the mind of most people present.
I never thought that I would Parliament/Funkadelic see on stage after they split up in 1981 but here they where…….!!
The next posting will be of the actual concert.
PCS tech: slightly cropped; contrast, levels, curves & saturation (differentially) adjusted; altered the exposure of assorted elements; applied the photographic warm filter; ran through NoisewWare; USM-ed; added a frame and saved for the web.

wow 1600 iso and still a decent result , I know ot's quite difficult to shoot in these circomstances ( I tried it several times, but my camera max is 800 iso and the results are very poor ) :-( so I think you did very well here !!
What a nice colours Bert, ISO 1600 wow!! so that's why it's so brilliant!! :))
cheers
ToM
Bert,
Ah, you knew the title of this one would catch my eye!
As for the photo, it's an amazing space, obviously, and I think you've brought it out beautifully, especially with the use of really vibrant colours (which are, of course, entirely appropriate to the P-Funk).
I have tickets for P-Funk Sept. 27 and can't wait (especially since Bootsy will be with them, tho he almost never tours any more!).
