we aptly call these kind of shots as "electronic porn" especially for those who love to see the nakedness of their electronic equipment. if you open up your high tech electronic gadgets, you often see some chips or ICs (integrated circuits) embedded on some PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) and shown in this photo are the twin op-amps (Burr-Brown OPA2134) of a NAD C542 CD Player. these two ICs amplify the small stereophonic signals coming out from the CD transport to be fed or inputed to the DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) circuitry of the CD Player. it's difficult to focus both ICs in the macro mode so the DOF of the one in the bottom will have to be blurred when i opted to focus on the one on top. a closer look of the top view of the same chip can be seen on this photo.

Bonjour Ronnie,
I like your theme and the title of the shot :o)
I find the macro well executed and with a nice tilt to give a bit relief to the picture.
Regards, David

lol. I didn't get the title at first but now I do. :) I think it is cool that you noticed the complimentary blue and yellow colors of this curcuit board. It is a nice sharp photo )in the middel) with a nice soft lighting. Do those things lighting up? If so take a photo with the lights off and those one! ;) Nice photo. JP

nice porn shots Ron :P
you know the 2134 can be upgraded...my favorite chip is the AD823 and AD8620 :) used to built headphone amplifiers with these chips :P

good sharpness and details in the shot, the color is very good too

I must admit I opened your shot cause of the title...and I find amazing the colors, indeed the title is a part of the "product", so, I like it!

Have a nice day

Marco

How dare you! That nudity agress me! I'm so technolocathodic!! :o) Humm very sharp and vivid colors. Clean too! Some circuits accumulled so many dust! It's fun, I remeber i did some before. I find the design of that style, cool, me too! But i did the photo smaller at this time. It would be a good idea to reedite one day :o)

Hi Ronnie

Good sharpness & framing. I like the color contrast between the blue & yellow. Good work!

Beautiful shot Ron! I always like the nakedness of a circuit board or a mother board. When my fist computer stopped working, I took the mother board and framed it. This one is still so clean, so new! nice job.

Hi Ron,
I very much like your composition here, with one perfect diagonal and one offset... very effective in bringing dynamics to an otherwise static subject! Contrasting yellow and blue work well, good DOF - I like your work here

Pablo

Hey Ronnie!

This is a pretty original idea. We don't get to see too many technical shots. I really like it. Best wishes!

ha ha, another clever one Ronnie. Excellent idea
