Man that's a wicked shot, totally blown away by it. Awesome really really awesome.
Very, very courageous, slightly provocative, ambiguous and ... well, let's leave it to that.
Please, please, dont take this as a spoiler, as i really like what you did here. IMHO, maybe you should have left your skin colour untoyched, against the blue-metal expression of her [cold] face, just as a comparisson. But that is just me.
Great work of emotions and creativity Marco!
ComplimentS!
hey Marco,
Wow! Very expressive and deeply seeded photo/artwork you have given for us to view.
The pp work is pretty freakin good here. The way you mixed these two images is very creative.
I think Lisar has a good point on the skin color for maybe an alternate version but I like the desat in yourself against the cold blurred blue portrait.
I think the hand on the left would be better if it was less on the edge of the frame and there is some ghosting blend on that forearm. Also for me your nose touching the edge of her face is to in alignment. I would say break the plane of her face with yours or sit your face more within hers.
The white at the bottom which you are appearing to come out of is an interesting touch.
It seems the border on the bottom is a bit smaller than the one on top. Sorry being picky here.
My perception: There tends to be an implied pane or wall between you and the girl however the invisibleness of it implies emotional tenseness with insecurity and or mixed with the unavailability of closeness/emotions. Something is keeping you just far enough away it leaves you grasping in it's wake. It can be touched but not grasped.
Just from the way your head is held and the passion with the eyes closed of trying to get through almost trying telepathically for her to reach you or vice versa.
Pretty freakin heavy if you ask me the more I ponder the image and look into it's existence. Great expression of being Marco!
take care,
Michael

I like it cause it's a smash view! In that posture it give me a curious impression. If i'm transpose miself in a situation like that i will feel... a'm i trapted in a symbolic impossible love... No mather the sex of the figures... i think it's the feeling. It could be impossible attraction.. But the feeling is, something is not perfect in the relationship feelings :o)
Good work!

Hi Marco,
Nice image. I'm glad you blurred her face out or someone might be really mad at you right now. ;P Good use of symbolism here. The blue skin...really cold...she looks icy. And, then you have yourself...touching her, but not being in color because she doesn't have warmth to bring you to life. Very good portrayal.
I did a ws for you. It's not an to be an improvement on what you did. Just a different point of view. I was wondering...if she is so cold and you touch her for a long time would her coldness transfers over to you?...like touching ice and then becoming cold, too... It's just an idea. See if you like it and hopefully you'll find it useful for something else one day. Well done.
Take care.
Richard

Excellent !!!!!!!! extremely creative. Michael has pointed out somethings which i also think that would improve the photo to make it practically perfect i.e. hand shouldnt be so close to the edge of the border..etc. Nevertheless, absolutely brilliant pic and PS
Finaly something inovative on TL!
Awesome work! Really!
Regards.

Good moody shot. Love the blue of the woman and the black and white of the man. Perhaps expand the canvas on the left to give more space for the hand. It is as if you are outstretched to cover and give the cold woman some warmth.

What a strong image Marco, the model's body and his attitude looks very impressive and attractive,as well as the blurred woman's face.

Hi Marco,
great performance; I like that your hand moves out of the frame. That's great!
The blurry and the blue tone of the background is well chosen.
I even like Richard's ws.
Best wishes,
Nino
Hello Marco this is very mysterious to look at, you wonder why the man is trying to do, kiss or displace, is he mad or searching for a model to fill his dreams or plans in life, but because he is baretorso, I could also say he is drunk!!!
Well done my friend & sorry I can't express my emotions more clearly to this foto.

bravo Marco
Ciao Marco, Non so come mai ho mancato questa tua potente realizzazione.

Hi Marco,
Superb composition, I think you were right to go with the black and white against the cold blue of her image, it is realy a thought provoking piece and great imagry. I love the contrast not only between the colours but also focus and size. Cheers
