[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A photo I took a few years ago, in Ponta de Ouro, a small town on the coast of southern Mozambique.

This was a few years after the end of the thirty years of civil war, but there were still a lot of houses which hadn't been repaired, many still occupied.

Taken with my previous camera (Panasonic DC2090).

Post processing: just resizing and sharpening.

I like the style. Curious cause it's a ruin! But it have something i like anyway. The minimalist of it probably :o)

I have seen many of these houses in Moz. In Maputo there are quite a few newly build houses that seemed to be abandoned. The country still after more than 10 years carries the scars of the war. And it is such a beautiful country. Must have been a nice house a long time ago.
