[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here Luisa is 4 months old.

I cropped a bit on the left hand side, making it 4:3 instead of 3:2. Resized and converted to b/w.
Increased contrast a little bit and sharpened with USM, using a very small amount and a tiny radius, to keep the skin soft.

I was thinking of increasing the contrast even more (brightening the white parts), but I wasn't sure if this would not have been too harsh...
What do you think...? Has it got enough contrast?
Frank

P.S.: I have forgotten to say that this was taken by my wife, Eleonora. And I know, it's not ideal that one can only see a part of Luisa's hand...
Well, such is life!

P.P.S.: Martine's workshop version is definitely better, I think (thanks again, Martine), she added contrast without blowing out any highlighs, it just looks crisper, so I guess I will repost this one of these days...

Bonjour Franck,
Martine

Amazing! She has change a lot in four months! look at those big expressive eyes. Beautiful, that is your baby and the photo. I am sure she will be the darling of TE, seeing her grow through photos at TE! Thank you for sharing her pretty pictures.

Also, I want to thank you for your comments on my photo, "Embarcader Station". It is very much appreciated.

Ah Frank, she is getting more beautiful each time I see her. And I love the tiny hand that I can just see holding onto the big finger. Such a wonderful look of love and trust she is showing. Keep these photos coming!
And the photo itself. I look at it and see it as perfect. I don't often think to change photos like this, apart from minor USM and maybe a little contrast. Martine has done a good change and I like it, but I still think to keep what you have is best, as it seems more natural. That is IMO... :)

ANGEL! SHE HAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL EYES AND EXPRESSION I HAVE EVER SEEN FRANK! :D... The little fingers make me want to hold her hand... The smile and the expression in her 'EYES' make me wonder how beautiful and amazing life can be! Yes! Like Andre says, she is going to be 'The Darling of TL!' and we love to see her grow peacefully and wonderfully into a beautiful girl... Thanks for sharing Frank... :D... As for the PP ... Please leave her like that Frank ... We love the way she is :D ... Thanks! :D

Take care....
- Hima.

* I like Martine's workshop too but as I say always... Natural is Natural :D *

I see you are a proud father. You have a beautiful little girl with amazing eyes of her own. I like the way she is looking up at her Daddy. Nice composition and focus. I like the contrast in the workshop too.
