[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is Penarth Pier, home to numerous old cruise ships that sail around the Bristol channel. One ship, The Waverley, is the only sea going paddle steamer in the World.
I`m not sure about the sparkling lights. Perhaps I will try a wider aperture next time?

Great perspective and nice lighting. B

I kind of like the sparkling lights. Your perspecdtive is awesome. I really like the lighting and color. I think the hint of blue light from the windows of the building on the right is really neat.

Nice angle on this one Jeff, the lights on the houses may be a little overexposed but the street lights look good, they have a star filter effect.

Love the colors and the lighting and the composition but there seems to be too much out of focus foreground for me. The photo is such a piece of stark reality that the large anount of blur gets in the way of unity.

That said, I love your style . . . and this photo is as tasty as your others

Very fine nighshot of this pier Jeff.

i like the almost-at-the-ground POV! Gives a very nice view of this place. Great lighting too. Nice work.

Symmetry, perspective and compo are splendid. Very good DOF. Bravo

very good photo!

Well-balanced composition, Jeff. I like the perspective chosen from ground level and the strong guiding lines in it. Hihi, a real nice effect caused by small aperture, the 'stars' of the lanterns. Like guides for the ships out there at sea. Well seen and managed.

Great perspective and lighting. The low pov makes the picture very different.

Jeff,

Wonderful image. A small suggestion, would be the depth of focus. The perspective is perfect, but sharpness should come to the base of the image. Even without that, it is good. I like it very much.

Triple Nice … Congratulations Jeff … I love it !!!

Jeff....I don't think you need a wider aperture here. You've captured this image quite well as it is. You have succeeded in creating a significant depth to the photo. Along with the pleasant colours, you have a winner here.

Joe

Well done. I like the symmetry, perspective and lighting. Great work!
