As stated in my upload on 9/16, my son Jared is running cross country this year for his high school. Before the race, the team bows in prayer asking for protection and to perform at the best of thier ability....Lord Protect Us....

The only way we can protect our children. Strange how school photo's always have the same feeling. Looking at this it could have been taken at any of my kids schools. just look so familiar. Nice mood you created.

I like the color groupings in this photo. Nice candid. On the right, his foot is cut off. I think I would have included this. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Hi Greg,
This is indeed a very very touching photo of young people submitting themselves to the Almighty. Many are praying and hoping that one day, we can kneel and pray openly like this in my country.

A great photo with plenty of atmosphere: the intensity of the prayer, anticipation before the race and as i can see with the team in red: the warm up before the big run begins.
