| This was taken with a Nikon 28-70mm lense at a focal length of 50mm, with a +4 close-up lense. I am learning how to gage depth of field and aperture settings using my camera in total manual. I felt I had too shallow a depth of field for the last snakes I shot through glass, so I went out and shot some more. I did better this time I think. |

Incredibly sharp. Love the colours and composition. Also this snakes eye is mesmerizing looks like a amber stone. The scales appear like feathers, and the gleam on the snakes skin is fantastic. Great capture, deserve more points for such a beautiful shot.
You did great but I'm afraid of snakes.
