[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Claustrophobia - defined as 'a morbid fear of being closed in a confined space'. Bird in a cage - there is nothing more cruel than that - nothing can better depict Claustrophobia.
Shot in a neglected aviary in the outskirts of Mumbai. Cropped and used the angle of camera to enhance the feeling of suffocation. Lasso selected and hightlighted the claw to emphasise desperation. Framed and titled.

It is terrible. Not the photo but the poor bird. I think you captured the idea of captivity very well. It is dark inside the cage. Two layers of fence around the poor thing and it is such a lovely bird. I hate small spaces so I can just imagine how this poor bird must feel. Well done! Great statement you make here.

Nice thought provoking shot. I also like the framing teatmet you have given it.

take care

Gareth

Namaste Mukesh

I like the double repetitive grid pattern. Was the green color cast intentional? A well illustrated feeling of confinement. Good work!

This bird really have even double reason to be afraid. I have thesame title on one photo, but the object is difetent.
Good sharp view through net layers and nice bird.
I like idea.

Hello Mukesh, you succeeded with the idea of claustrophobia. Well composed and good colours.

Double wires. I don't think the bird is that dangerous.

Well done, good perspective.

Cheers, Yan

very well composed shot
great title for the photo Mukesh, good impact in the shot

Hi Mukesh,
You surely catched the situation very well. If i was in the place of the parrot i also would have claustrophobia. Well done

Parrots are highly inteliigent. I have had some that talked. I loved them. My daughter said they loved me. My love birds could open their cage, then escape, they would make sure they had my attention, then they would knock stuff off shelves. I always had big cages, stuff to do, and left them in front of a window. They would actually go back in their cages, when I lost patience, with their messes, and said "go home". I miss them.
