Hello everyone, :)
I was neglecting TL these days because of a nasty flu and a busy week at work, so I need to catch up! :)) I saw some marvellous pix of yours!:)

I'd like to attach this photo to one of my previous post, Alley #2 because entering that alley, finally you can end up here at Church Hill! As I mentioned before this is the place Szentendre is built around! And of course this is the oldest building in town. The Roman Catholic Parish Church!
It was first built in the 13th century then reconstructed in the 18th century in Baroque style.
What I like the most on this church is an old iron stake jutting out above next to the entrance (you can't see now because of that tree) which is actually a part of a medieval sundial!

PP: for the mood I used (again) a mixture of colour and a monochrome layer with opacity!
I hope you like it!

Nice angle, nice view, nice done, Tom !

So you are back at presenting us picture of your beautiful town, ToM. I like your POV and composition here as it gives us the impression we are coming up the stairs and just discovered this beautiful church. I might like to see it in colours but the sepia tone adds a bit of mood to it. Well done!

P.S. I hope you are feeling better now and that your flu is all gone. Take care of yourself!

Excellent perspective and composition with the stair that are bringing us toward the tower. Very good picture. TFS

Hi Tom, I hope by now you have get over you flu, it can be very nasty. Excellent shot you got here, I like it very much, great POV, colours tone and the details just excellent! It just make me feel like I have to go there and see it myself... :) (one day... maybe) Thanks for sharing my friend...

Hi Tom

Yes, as mentioned before, the tone on this is oh so good. We all strive for that one picture....you've come close with this. A big well done.

SF.

Hi Tom, this is a beauty. Nice comp and PoV, I like the way the diagonal sloping top edges of the stairwell walls direct your immediate attention to the base of the Chapel. I also like the sepia tones you have given to this. An ancient place by our (NZ) standards, interesting notes. Well done. I have added this to the theme “Churches…..etc”.

Kindest regards
Wayne
