[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This part of my Trek Lens 3D Photo Theme. I've also got a Trek Earth 3D Photo Theme, and a Trek Nature 3D Photo Theme.

I have posted one of the 2D originals I used to make the 3D version as a workshop for people who don't have 3D glasses.

This is a 3D photo that you can apreciate as an abstract by itself ;-), or find a pair of the 3D glasses (the ones with the red and cyan lenses) to get the 3D effect. It is a photo of a pyramid of metal balls looking that the bottom and middle section of the pyramid as it hands in midair.

OK I don't have any og those glasses hanging around but I can imagine what it looks like. ...but now you have got my interest....How did you create the effect?. Let us know how to do it and we could start a theme!

take care

Gareth

I want you to know I dug out my sons' 3-d glasses just for your Pics! :D
Very fun! A great abstract picture.
Annetta

cool...mesmerizing

Hey! How can you have that... Is it just to create two layers of those colors in semi transparence, or a spécial filter?

I told myself Damp.. could be cool... I know having one pair somewere... Ho yes! Into my cd of "Insane Clow Posse" A weir duo doing heavy electronic music with of course... Explicit language.
So they did some 3d details in the cover and the cd come with the glasses :)

Hey it's work very fine! And the subject is good for that experience!

Amazing & interesting.

Hi Tom,
You did it again... another amazing 3D composition, but still working well in 2D! I like your DOF, focusing on the edge and leaving the sides with increasing blur... Well done!
Regards,
Pablo -

wow. the photo is great even without and 3D glasses. Good composition and repetition. I have to get a pair glasses to try this. I hope my monitor is calabrated to the glasses though or it may not work. ;)

Hello Tom,
When I saw this image I thought to myself that yes, it has beautiful colours, incredible DOF - but only after I looked at it with my 3D glasses I could truly appreciate it. Tom, it's brilliant!

VERY WELL DONE!!!

Shelly.
