Black River ( la rivière Noire )on our way to the Hunting club Bataram at Saint-Simeon. A distance of abt 7 kms in a twisty forest road before we arrive at the first service area.

A wonderful to discover at this time of the year. But be careful, a lot of hunters are haunting these woods.

You may hear one of these in the woods. Be careful .... Wait ! ...... Listen ..... here (^_^)

this colors are really beautiful , sharp and contrast is great , tones and composition is excellent . the technically is amazing Wonderful images captured

Idyllic and peacefully beautiful

Hi Robert,

This reminds me very much of a trip my wife and I took to Tennessee a year ago. We stood along the banks of Ococee River (site of the 1996 Summer Olympics kayaking event) and the scene looked very similar. Great composition here with the diagonal line of the riverbank dividing the frame nicely. But most of all I love the rich colors, especially the bright yellow leaves in the foreground. Good use of the various elements in the photo to create a nice frame. Very well done!

Reminds me of Shenandoah in Virginia when I was a kid, ages ago of course I now live in Peru and the climates are not so marked as they are in other parts of the world so I never see these beautiful colors of autumn, very lovely photo.
