This man plays the violin everyday for money. He was sitting on a bench all the way downtown in New York City, by the water.

He has a perfect view of the statue of liberty from where he sits. Not a bad for someone here from another country, who barely speaks English but is getting along by the change he makes everyday playing his violin.

Technically this shot is not perfect but I enjoyed my few minutes chatting with him and the fact he allowed me to take a shot (although I had literally no money on me to give him in return).

He smiled and don't me not to worry about it since it was such a beautiful day out.

Hi Daniel, I find this a very happy picture. I like people playing in the street, and always try to give them money, as they give free concerts.

Great shot.

sorry no more greens

A colorful photo, pittoresque. Nice variety of colors
and the personnage brings joy. A nice moment in life. TFS,Daniel.

JN.

the man is cool and fitting for your gallery. The colors are good too. Composition is pretty centered and normal but ok. But the lighting is ... well... not so hot. I think you could have tried to use a fill flash or a personal assistent to hold a reflector panel on him. :)

The story is nice though. I am going to try a workshop if you don't mind. JP

This volin player has a pretty classy shirt too! He wears a "Burberry of London" shirt. i myself could not afford that! :) Unfortunately, I think your camera read more of the sunlight areas putting the violin player area underexposed.

Also, thank you for your comments on my photo, "Gas Container".

cool shot, I did a workshop, hope you don't mind. (really I had to think twice before doing so, since I think you are a lot better at this stuff than me)
