I made this shot for a cigars website's contest. The theme of the photo contest was "Cigars and Geometry". I thought that the shapes of cigars could be compared to the shapes of the cartridge. There is a cigar called "Magnum 46"... so, another "parallele" could be made between cigars and bullets.

The cigars has been added in post-pro, because I was unable to make them stay up (in the good position for the photo, beside the bullets). I also added cigars' rings on some bullets.

Nice shot Isabelle,
And a really good idea.
You can usually use it for a contest.
But I think you shouldn't add the cigars on the photo on TL.

A very original composition, Isabelle. Very professional. I think some cigar company might actually want to buy this photo from you - it makes a great advert. The red background is beautiful, as is the shine on the cartridges. Well framed.

Very amusing. Plays tricks on my mind. Has so many meanings including sexual. Your postprocessing is very seamless. Can't tell at all that the cigars were added. Wonderful job!

Des munitions d'armes a feu et des cigares... pourquoi je pense a la revolution Cubaine lorsque je regarde cette photo?

Vous auriez pu faires tenir debout les cigares, en plantant a l'extremite des cigares une punaise a tete plate qui aurait servi de socle.

It's avery creative work, Isablelle, the bullets expressa double meaning. I like dark red background. I made a WS, just for fun, but your option is off - I added Bill Clinton's portrait at the left upper corner - he knows something about cigars..

Etrange et tres bien réalisé cette photo. sur la vignette, les cigares et les balles se ressemblent vraiment. bien vu.
