I am a flight freak and anything to do with warbirds get full marks from me.

Must have been amazing to stand next to her and smell the fuel and oil and the smell of the cockpit.

Enviable POV Matthew.
Again, in the UK, all or most of the static aircraft are roped off from public access, so we rarely manage shots like these.

I love the F4U, and it usually partakes in the Duxford Warbirds figher meet.

I love the way you've managed to capture the helmet, and the folded wing in the shot works well.

Very accurate colouring too. The navy blue is represented well in the image.
