[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These three girls were catching the last evening rays of the sunshine on the beach at Tulum. I quite liked their arrangement and the long shadows cast across the sand.

To abstract the picture a little I have used the photoshop 'dust and scratches' filter. It also cleaned up, what was/is, a rather poor scan of the original negative.

He, this pic could have been great, it is a nice compo and invite me to have a swim so much. Negative point is that the lovely girls have sort of plastic finish... :-) ... may be too much clean up and softening. Otherwise i like it, for the absolutly fine sand and the ocean.

I understand how this compo attraced you. I can see the use of dust & scratch filtre here and i agree with Maire. The girls look a tbit plastic. I think you can go 2 ways here, either use less filter and have them look more natrual or use more to really show that it is post processed. As it is now, the girls as well as the sand look a bit flat IMHO. BUt the compo is great and very well seen

The filter's effect almost makes this look like an Edward Hopper painting. I like this shot.
