| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French] |
| After a take off from Luton airport (north of London UK), we was flying between 2 levels of clouds. At a time the light of the sun was diffracted in a rainbow... It was splendide, just the time to take my camera and take this picture. |

C'est un phénomène qui n'est pas très rare (même si on ne le remarque pas souvent). Ce qui est plus rare, c'est que les couleurs soient aussi marquées... Bien joué !
Hola Jacques: Of all the similar phenomenons with this that me to have seen, this it is the sundogs with captured better quality, the image is excellent. The place and the height from which you captured it were the best. I have seen this while I travel in bus and I could not capture it, time later saw it while to walk, but I could not capture it very well. I have seen this in TrekEarth, and it is also a related phenomenon with the solar halo. I believe that besides your camera, the window of the airplane helped to capture the colors very well in this image. The following ones are linked they were given by digi-mom:

I believe that this type of images is also interesting for TrekNature.
