From the Kiwi Islands (aka New Zealand)

These two very atractive Ambassadors of New Zealand keep on sending to TL the most stunning photo's ..showing there lovely country !

Also .. Dawn invited many of us before for
beach parties and BBQ's over there!
While on vacation a person has all the time to think .. and that is when I discoverd these
fishing boats on the beach .. one for sale..
So I am thinking of 'Sailing of' to the Kiwi's
( Captain Bligh did ..in an open boat like this after the mutiny on his ''Bounty'' )

I need a few crew to help me along .. thinking of
inviting Robert Calve *perryhooter* in Tl he knows all about sea-shipping!
We sail first to Athens .. to pick up Vassilis Sinopoulos .. in Tl *vsinopoulos* and sail along .. trough the Suez Canal ..straight to Singapore .. where Koh * tropicalsips * will give us a break a few days in his home and support fresh suplies for the final trip to New Zealand !

We need 1 or two extra hands .. good in night views .. and most off all : a financer !
Willing and open to hear your proposal's !
UPDATE:
First VOLUNTEER has been added: Linus aka*Sunil*
In Shrilanka and its on the same route.
Your on Linus..Welcome !
Second update of Captain Robert .. to charter an other vessel.. see:
http://www.sorenlarsen.co.nz/

2nd Idea..
when sailing home .. it could be via the Cape..
Zuid Afrika/South Africa where we might meet:
Archi aka*Ajnviper* and Annette..aka *Cleocat*

Thanks folks .. so see in 2 years my new Series:
Robinson Cruso part 2, NOT by Daniel Defoe this time ! (^_^)

So.. Dawn and Janice.. here we come !
Thanks for popping in
John

Nice boatline in the frame; water and beach parts good in 1/3 rule. Second boat nice in rythm.
Your second internal frame gives a feeling of looking through a beachbunker; nice depth effect.
Good seen and edited John / (h)eerlijk

Neat and bright colours and very innovatively framed John. A lovely thought for two lovely ladies from NZ. Though I would have liked you to leave some 'breathing space' around the baot
:-)) Take care
Mukesh

Only not; I think it's a pitty the front of the boat is a little out the picture. BUT.... it's a nice picture and I think our two Kiwi-girls will like it too.

Don

Kia Ora to all of you! :))
I've worked on a cruise-liner.... Can I go??? :)))
At least I know how to serve vine!!!! :))) oh, and I've been to kiwi-land once... I know the way to Aotearoa! :))
Nice shot, John!:))Excellent colours... It's a pity the nose is chopped off a wee bit! :) I hope it won't be sinking :)))
cheers
ToM

Hi John,
I generally like anything to do with Sea, So I like this. As for your planned journy to NZ, you forgot Sri Lanka on the way! I could recommend interesting places to see and stay while you guys are passing through!
Sunil

You really are becoming an expert a unique frames. I really like this one and I do like teh image too ...I guess its very tightly cropped and I agree with Koh on the USM/contrast part. But otherwise its really a fun image.. makes me want to jump on the boat and go away....TFS

Once again, love the framing work, just perfect. Love the water pictures, keep them coming!

Cette composition se suffit à elle-même. Très belle simplicité dans son exploitation. Le cadre est original. Bravo ! Annie

Hi John. Erg goed gedaan. Groet Frans.

Hellooooooooo Johnny....What a beautiful surprise to wake up to this morning...Thank you so much for thinking of Janice and myself, and your lovely words about us...and the lovely photo too..your a great buddy John, I can see your going to have fun on your travels... but I am a little worried..is everybody going to fit into that boat?.....

Wait and see..for tonight all will be revealed......

Great photo John, lovely colours and excellent framing...

Hugs from Kiwi land .... Dawn. :-))))
p.s. Tom (chiquito) must be on the top of the list.. he will be a good young, strong, crew member...lol...

Remember more to follow tonight from me...... he he.....KIA ORA...

Now I had a good laugh. You have to stop here at the Cape of Storms in that big boat of yours. And you say I live in a dream world. But it is a great dream.

Stunning frame and I like the tight crop it enhances the smallness of the boat. I'm still giggling.

What a wonderful capture this is. Love the frame on this. Well seen and a very good composition. I like this.

Good morning to you Johnnie Tulip! And what a sight to wake up to - this tiny boat on it's way to AOTEAROA - Land of the Long White Cloud, aka NZ, Kiwiland.

Okay! Now, Dawn and I will be ready, awaiting your arrival. We're meeting up together this week, so we'll sort out the places for you to visit. You will be staying for at least all summer I hope.

Yes, bring ToM as ToM knows the way here and the good spots to visit.

And Josine, you won't neeed to swim - the boat looks fine!!:( I'm only pleased I won't have to travel on it!!

Let us know when you're departing... I'll send the helicopters out...

Thanks John
Kia ora

Hi John,

A big frame is excellent for that picture. Great composition. The colors are superb as usual. I'm sure you will have a lot of fun sailing. TFS
Luc

Hello John ,I love photos of boats, anything that has to do with the ocean your frame is excellent lovely photo. Have fun on your boat trip,
Christine.

Haha! Quite funny John! Hope you don't sink with all those people in the boat ;)

I wish you all the best of times in your great adventure around the world!

BTW, very nice photo of these twe boats, I like the composition and the colour of the boats. I like the wide rectangular composition.

Cheers to you and don't forget your camera around the world :)

Yan

What a funny note, John. Thanks for a good laugh. :) Good luck on the trip. Don't forget to get a bunch of memory sticks to store pictures from the trip!

Now about the picture ... I like the colors. The frame is very cool and original. The boat's nose is a tad chopped off, but you've been told about it quite a few times above ... :)

Katya

Great idea John, but I think we should get a very large cruise ship to fit all the fantastic TL members. That way all crew needs will be covered, but most of all it will be a fantastic photographic gathering. Nice image but too small for our needs!
You are always a very active and humorous fellow member and a great person nice to be part of the crew.
Vassilis

nice shot john :)
good colors and composition, maybe needs a little USM & contrast...looks like a heavily cropped photo :)

good choice of frame for the image

i missed out on your note when i first commented on the photo John :P
thats a great idea :) but you'll need a much bigger boat for such a long journey :P i want to be on the Singapore-New Zealand leg too :)

Hi John
Jump on a much bigger boat please! Come and visit as soon as possible, the sky in SA is fantastic and clear. We will see lions and all about wild africa... ha ha ha

This is very good. Sharp and wonderful composition...but the frame is a bit much Teacher! That is my personal opinion.
Fran

John, your images and notes always make me smile!!

Great story, John! I have seen from Dawn's post that I am to be on the next boat out of the Netherlands on the way to New Zealand, may I ask you to stop by the United States on the way? I'll be happy to meet you in Savannah, LOL!!

I like the photo - it is attractive and eye catching - I don't know why - but it is. Colours, boats, beach, frame all add to a very nice piece of work. Nicely done. As for New Zealand, I'd love to go, but it is so far away - one of these days when I retire I guess. Sam

nice very nice , without those tyni letters better but very nice photo, like the pictures size

Wooow John, I really like your framing work.. and the subject of your photography of course.. and the note which was so amusing to read.. and the composition, BG, colours, exposure, what can I say:

S U P E R B!!

The colors of this composition is fantastic, I like the way you highlighted the blue with the frame...the work of a pro, well done!

Ahhhhhh so this is the dinghy that Janice and Dawn have asked me to help crew :). A sailor I am not, but I could supply copious amounts of berley for fishing. Nice colours John and I do so much like your frames.
