yes, you're right, the brilliance of the drops is staying and falling with the light.
You had a phantastic light to give the drops this shining and together with the black BG it's a littly mystic. Wonderful. Also excellent sharpness. Waterdrops can be so phascinating, I also love to make shots of drops. Thanks for sharing, bye

this one is so pretty. I tried something like this a while ago, but it didn't turn out as beautiful as yours...the light in your pictures is excellent, which is so important for macro shots...and you did wonderful!

Sorry for not been commenting so far, a hot office season I have now :) But off we go!
Truly, I think this is the best flowers&droplets combination I've seen. I do not know how but here you managed to make them interact! I mean, here if you look at the sharp diagonal, the bright strokes (what was it, btw?) create a movement illusion but the droplets stay still. The logical reason of this is the petals' texture that holds them. So I think here you created an illusion of moving still life and this triggers the other ways of perception.
And the deep red is absolutely gorgeous.

I like this a lot, Ektarina. The light and composition are stellar. The droplets of water are great, too. I'm not sure if I like the limited DoF, or would prefer a bit more. There is something interesting about looking into the photo to wee the focus change, but, at the same time, it takes me away from the subject and think about the technique.
