i think it comes naturally that when i point my camera at friends faces they imediatly look annoyed... but then again dont like smily portairs most of the times....

Very nice and dramatic photo. Darkness is a big plus here, in the context (IMHO) - a very good compo and frame, the white spots are a plus. Just natural and perfect, no negative point here. We anticipate the character of your friend. Bravo.

I think I have overdone with my son..he covers his face recently when I try to catch a picture of him..
I don't think you have overdone it with your friends though :)..he looks at you and he is coool :).. I like your very panaromic cuts very much Jorrit..this is a very unusual portrait..beautiful and I have to say your friend is very handsome :)...
