[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken inside the United Nations Headquarters in 1989. The painting in the shot was commissioned by Nancy Reagan and the inscription reads:-

Do unto others as you would have them do onto you.

I decided to post it in TL because of the amount of post-processing work I had to do to 'restore' it. It has been cropped to remove the areas that were beyond hope. The painting was in a rather dark hallway with just a little soft lighting.

It is a terrible photo but scanning at 600 dpi has helped to bring out some of the detail.

Tech: Brightness +6. Contrast +15. Increased saturation.

Very nice capture of this fine artwork - I like the blurry look yet with a lot of delails and soft colours - Very fine work Andrew.

Beautiful art Andrew. I agree with the inscription too. I have tried a WS as the quality on the shot is not good as you say - just to see if I could add to the work you have already done. See what you think.

You did a very good PP work. Apparently, your work is succeeful as I feel that I am staring right into this painting.

I like the texture of this shot.

Great capture Andrew. I like the texture. Well done

It sure is a compelling piece of art, Andrew, and your restoration work came out pretty darn good I should say. It's a bit like Manny wrote - I feel like I'm staring at this painting, and I also feel I'm being gawked back at by some of the characters ;-) Good colors, well done.

Amazing what ps can do, good result here, the lighting must have been a little tricky, it seems a little old looking for such a recent piece, i thought it was from a church to start with. Well done.

Hipnotizing art work - so many details. We can enjoyThanks to your efforts, and I think that you made a vey good job here. Well done, Andrew.
