Never mind about the lack of detail on the swan's back - the eye-catcher is that vivid beak, giving the whole composition a punch and putting together a great colour combination.

hi hendrik
it's an unusual view of a swan, but it is a good, graphical type image. very good splash of colour from the bird's beak. i like it!

Just BRILLIANT Hendrik. It looks just about a perfectly even pattern too. The colours contrast so well and the red beak is the best. Well done.

Unusual POV for a vacation photographer. But a great POV for someone how is in to forms and lines. This almost graphic presentation of the swan. Reduced to black white and red is very good creative and uncommon.

Hello Hendrik,
I like the originality of this swan capture with a POV that we don't see usually. This create a great shot.

Hallo Hendrik,
Prachtig zwart-wit contrast met een beetje rood. Ik hoop niet dat je het erg vindt, maar ik vond hem zo mooi en moest er gewoon even mee spelen. Zie de WS
groet Rob
Very good POV on this shot, and a good black background, although there's a bit of a blue cast on the feathers. For something different, I rotated the picture to show the swan moving from left to right. Nice job, Hendrik!

Indeed: less is more.
We see birds from above only with chicken.
Nice angry look with the black cheeks. Great contrasts.
Graphical image, well done Henk

Wow! the point of view is stunning. I like the subtle colours on the white feathers from the late evening sun.

Hello Hendrik,
Wow, but that's a real beauty! I never saw a swan photographed from this angle. The contrast is perfect and what else can I say, except:
SUPERB!!
Shelly.
