Sad Prom
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This should be one of the greatest memories of a highschool girl's teenage years, but there is so much sadness in this photo. That is what I have been told by anyone who has seen this picture. This again is my favourite model. I offered to take her prom pictures. At the time I guess she didn't realize how nice it is to have these memories captured. I know she does now. I wish I had more memories captured like this from when I was a youngster. I miss those years myself. Today is her Brithday. I hope I get a chance to see her. I even got her a little present.
This one is shot in a park close to downtown. The tree was a great backdrop. |

Hello Chris,
The mood of the subject is well taken. I would suggest to crop a little bit at the bottom and on the right to focus our eyes into the face of her.
Bye, Guy
Say her "bonne fête":-)
Wonderful Chris. An attractive young lady on her prom night, something she will always treasure. IMHO you need not crop anything. You are showing the full length of her gown. Well captured, TFS,
regards
David
Nice pic.. but I would definitely crop! I love the grain/texture/curving of the wood so I would zoom in closer :D look at my workshop. (offbalance becoz of the hand on the tree.. I couldn't crop higher or my hair would be in it)
Great mood and textures. Maybe the lower parts of the dress are a bit overexposed. Seen my prom photos from Hungary? I can certainly understand what you have written in your note.
