Hello kevin,
Its a great shot, the bouncing flash really worked i suppose. Its a "in your face" kind of a shot and you cant run away from it. It looks like the cat is trying to communiate. very sharp and good on the details.

Oh, Jinx is a doll!! I love her playful spry look. What a pleasure to have this little fur-baby in your home. I need to post some pictures of my fur-babies!! Great shot, Kevin. I hope you played with her afterwards!!

BTW - Technically speaking, the image is excellent. The DOF, the sharpness in her little face! Really good work.

I'm not fond of cats and pet shots much but this one is so great. Actually its perfect. Tones and sharpness of it are excellent. And she looks so cute.. So well taken and captured:)

Wonderful capture kevin,

I love animals pets are especially great to photograph because they are more accustomed to our presence which allows us to get these nice close shot.

This is a lovely portrait with a great DOF, one I’m sure you’ll treasure as jinx grows and its nice to see him a little more at rest in this one ;)

Lol! I know that attitude so much! Mine is the same age approx and she is crazy! In that position... il imagine your kitten shaking his back after and will jump with persuasion he is a great predator ;o)

As another that enjoys taking pet photos your shot stood out to me right away. Fantastic eye contact and tremendous detail. I really like the shot. I would be interested in seeing the same shot with slighty more DOF so that the entire cat is in good focus. Good luck with your future endeavors.

o yes, her eyes are realy telling - play with me. I love the reflection of the light in her eyes and she's so pretty.
I think it wasn't easy to make, my cat always comes streight to the camera, she's so curious!

Your cat is obviously young and playful, don't even have to notice as he is so expressive! He seems to have find in you a perfect buddy to play with, considering the glance he launches at you...
The picture is a the first sight very soft and sober by its colors. It's absolutely amazing how your kitty brings a whole lot of fun ti the pic.

Great shot of jinx it tells alot abouth her. Fun cat.
