[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here's something a little different from me.

This amazingly yellow thing is a crane for loading things on to ships. I took this pic on Granville Island. The "island" (it's not really an island) used to be an industrial area before 1979 but has since been made over to be a family area with a popular market, restaurants, an art institute, and harbour. This crane is nothing more than a tourist attraction now.

I have another pic from Granville Island on TE. See: A Family Day Out

Post-pro: curves, then curves, then curves, then boosted saturation!!! And a little sharpening and a black border.

Very nice contrasts. The bright yellow of the crane against the pure blue sky. I just love the sign on the crane:"Maximum load 7 tons ONLY".
I think you could have cropped the bottom since it doesn't add to the picture. You could have cropped just under the cabin and showed more of the arm. Nice picture though.

Excellent contrasts and color saturation.. the cropping is perfect too!

Nice colors, the contrast between the yellow and the blue. May be you can crop a little more to take out the buildings on the bottom. Regards.

Great shapes and complimentary colors!
