[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A futuristic image made up from ordinary things.

Step 1. Place large glass paperweight on black card and turn off all the lights..:)

2. Get 1 small torch and illuminate the weight from behind so that it lights up around the edges.

3. Take photograph and copy to computer and into Photoshop CS2.

4. Manipulate the image using three layers, the very distant stars are just added noise on the second layer, the closer stars are just white dots done with the pencil tool, and the sun eclipse is done with lens flare.

5. Digital frame.

Thats very creative ...Good usage of a paperweight as well the correct filter in PS to create a nice sci-fi image. Very good work. TFS

A nice effect, John! Maybe too many stars in your starfield, but who knows, I only travel in airplanes! Quite an interesting image!
