Mist over drinking water

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The area I live in is entangled in a web of countless reservoirs and streams. East Branch Croton Reservoir, where the shot was taken on a September morning, is a part of the system. Frankly, I have no idea whether water from this particular one makes it into NYC dwellers’ taps. Nevertheless, along the reservoir there are numerous sings posted with warnings against trespassing for any purpose. Needless to say, I had to brake the law numerous times. And I’ll do it again. Such kind of law is asking for it, isn’t it?
Image straight out of the camera, I just had to remove two sensor dust spots. |

This is a moody capture, Mark! You capture the essence of autumn very well, just as it is in my part of the world too... I like your composition with vegetation in front, and the side lighting adds great life to the plants... Good colours and details, well done
