[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of the first photos I took with the Fujifilm FinePix601. I tok several shot in order to check it's DOF abilities. I don't know why, but this is the one I like the best.

I like this one too Yitzhak. One reason is the DoF (good practice :)) Second, i like the structure of the wood/ice and how it gradually becomes lighter. I also lik ehow the nails in the fore ground are lighter then those in the background. I think it they had been so light in the fore ground they would have been distracting rather then instresting as they are now.

Very well used of DOF. The shadows and lines are great. just a bit oversharpen for me. Nice shot!

I like this; the way the nails lead the eye through the shot and the light colour of the wood from the dew. A good feeling of space here, very well composed, great shot.

Excellent textures in this composition, Yitzhak. I also like how the nails and wood become lighter with each piece of wood. Well framed.

I would say this look like ice but I can see you already comment that to Zandra.

Yes I understand why you like it - The different lines of tree and nail gives a nice composition where the shadows add extra. Also the marks in the wood from the saw whats catch my eye. Good first job Yitzhak (with this camera :-)

Here, it's the rythm that I like the most, and also the light and shadows.. long shadows... end of day... Sharpness on wood's dust also. Nice shot.

I like your nails. Simple and artistic. Nice colours too.
Maybe you should try an other cutout too with an other composition. Cut the nail on the rightsite.
