Very nice picture,Bobbi! I like your composition showing us the three main elements:water, earth and sky! Good pov showing us that scenery through the branches! Well done! Michel

Great shot! So nice , TFS
Rob

Wonderful capture!! Branches are nicely came on!! TFS.

Kiran.

Great shot - I like the branches in fg filling the otherwise dull wide water surface. Distant mountains complete the photo perfectly. I like a lot the dominance of cold colours on this picture. tfs

Hi Roberta
I like this picture, but there is way too much branch in the way, spoiling the composition.
on the right isnt it amazing where the land meets the water, the distinction is so sharp.
I must go to the lake disrict, never been.

Hi Bobbi,
Great shot of one of my favorite places in the UK. I've posted some from a similar viewpoint as this. I like your idea re the framing with the tree, although it is a little bit too much. Great idea though. Also, can I be really picky about your decription of Scafell Pike? I hope you won't mind....You can't see Scafell Pike from this view, the mountain you can see to the right of the shot is Lingmell. The screes on the right are the slopes of Illgill Head. The lower slopes of Scafell Pike are hidden in between! The other peaks are (left to right) Yewbarrow, Kirk Fell (slightly hidden) and Great Gable. As I say, this is one of my favorite places in the UK. I do a lot of walking too. Hope this is useful. Great view, great shot, well done and TFS,
John

Hi Bobbi, how's it going?

Thank you for your critique. After going through your gallery, I selected this one for reply-critique, a Landscape.

The imaging-quality and exposure are good. I do like the composition with the branches, however, I was thinking perhaps some shore in the foreground, as to me it looks zoomed-in slightly too much: at the bottom of the composition (photo) there seems to be something missing.

I hope this will be helpful.

Best regards, Dimitri.
