[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have no idea why I am posting this. Maybe just to capture the sense of awe I felt when I saw this, and so desperately tried to get it on film. But didnt do it so well, I guess.

My camera doesnt go beyond f-stop 8.0 and a shutter speed of 1000. So these were real trying conditions for my poor camera, considering it was 2:00 pm.

So 'any' feedback on how to tackle harsh light conditions with/without a good camera would be absolutely welcome.

I did some post processing in which I only tried to get close to what I saw. There was some resultant noise which was removed using neatimage.

Have a good day!!

It is a special feeling when I see your photo, there are and the are not :) to be or not to be that is the question:) Where is the source of light and its reflection, maybe is a good excercise for other POV. But your shot isn't without a kind of mystery Lakshmi:)
José

Not bad at all.
Maybe a bit more contrast?

Namaste lakshmi

I like the radiant sunbeams & patch of sunlight on the surface of the water in the distance. Good work!

Nice capture. I love the blue tones.

Excellent seascape indeed. The blue colours are stunning with that sunbeam shining down. Well done. I think you camera handled the situation very well.My only suggestion would be to buy a Neutral Density, or Graduation Density filter for your lens. This helps to 'hold back' the sky from being overexposed.

Beautiful work, Lakshmi! The light is so gorgeous. Actually, no need to fix this as it gives such a nice mood of tranquility. I absolutely love the way the light falls on the water.
well done!
M:))

Beutiful skies and lighting and the special rays shining on the water are lovely. You did very well with it really considering the limitation of your camera. Very nice
Cheers
Joan
