Hello TL-Lovers and a special hello to "ropetko" - giving me the inspiration to this shot with his wonderful fruit-shots. - Thanks!

This is an arrangement of Physalis-fruits - in German we say Kapstachelbeere - because it comes from Southafrica and tasts like a gooseberry.

But I have the suspicion something different has smuggled in my shot, hmmmmm?!?
Hey - you cheeky baby-tomato - what are you doing there?

Have a wonderful evening everybody, bye bye.

i see the bigger red fruit in there wishnu :)
funny photo :) very creative idea

Do yoou ever use a reflector? Straight flash leaves 'highlights'. You can use many things, to reflect off, no need to by a pro one, but if you do, go for the 5 in one.
It sparkles, perfect colours too, thanx, M, (*_*)

Hi Sabine,

Well done on the capture and composition.

I agree with Magda, the flash caused hot spots and highlights. External flash can be reduced -1/3 to -2/3 A diffuser can be applied or as Magda said, a reflector.
Careful with the use of ring flash, it can cause alot of highlights especialy on macro work, diffusion is a must to keep the "Au naturelle," look.

Here i only know the name in french. We call the m Cerises de terre... I very bad translation could be made by "garden cherry" perhaps. I buy some in season on market. The taste is special! It look like suspicious is a cherry tomato?
We stay in the thematic :)
Very well presented! Full of nice texture!

haha! its similar with those fruits wishnu! i like the colors though haven't taste one. is it good? sweet or sour?

anyway, cool stuff.

Hi Wishnu,
Very pretty photograph: compo, harmony of the tone heats very good in this season. To mitigate the effect of the reflections, I have make WS, what do you think about? it's fun to make!
amm
PS : sorry for my bad english

Ein 4-lagiges Tempo auseinanderfriemeln, eine Lage nehmen und mit einem Gummiband über dem Blitzreflektor befestigen,-schon sind die ungewollten Reflexe weg.
A nice still life in warm and earthy colors, good placement of the fruits in the frame, excellent sharpness.
Einen schönen Abend!
Hermann

Bon apetite. You've made them look as delicious as they are.

Clever, I didn't even notice the cherry tomato. Great colors and well composed.
