Another good one. Reminds me of the ABNAMRO logo (big bank in Holland). Probably asked before but do you carry your cam with you all the time and when you see an oppertunity shoot it?
Seeing your pics makes me want to try as well...I'll have to open my eyes for oppertunities though.

Yes, nice and simple, yet very eye catching. The colours are a good contrast. The strong and bold shadow completes the scene. I like the composition placing the object at the top corner, and leaving a lot of negative space. Excellent focus. Very nice frame.

Green and yellow looks so great together. You should know that we enjoy too much the perfection of simplicity in your shots, wish to hear more? :) Yes this one is so great too with perfect time for light and shadow. And also with composition, easily can be recognized signed by "iso".

Stunning! The simplicity is refreshing and clean to the eye...such a nice antidote to visual overstimulization in our busy world. The colors are crisp, the composition is excellent with good use of the shadow, and the background texture provides extra depth or sense of tactile reality that makes me want to reach out and touch it.

this is a difficult type of photography..you need to have your surfaces in pristine condition and the textures more side lit...secondary lamp
i think i can see a slipper print there..:)
what also makes it hard is the fact it can be so posed to suit the correct parameters for composition and technique...any graphic still life variety of shot which is not pin sharp and balanced begs the question for its purpose in the first place
imho your shot is better than i could have done and satisfies by its simplicity and lighting...more texture in the rug would be good...but it is there anyway to some extent
i tried a w/s to zap this image..in my ugly style..
but ran out of credit...no matter

Just the right amount of space around the subject. The shadow pulls the composition together. There's a feeling of a mathematical structure at work here. Beautifully composed.

Hi! Michel,

A powerfull 3D effect and a simple object that goes un-noticed everyday, until the photographer isolates it and brings it home for a proper study. Our world rotates like a carousel. We see the rotation but we miss the horses. Well seen and what a catch!

I like minimalism in general but this brings in the shadow which only accents the straight lines. Fanntastic.

Simple photos are halfway to appealing photos. This one works very well. As always, great saturated matching colours and good contrast.
