[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This special plant I found along a peat lake in “Amstelveen Holland” Once I saw it along a mountain lake. People told me it is “Spurge” But after a investigation on Internet there was no corresponding photo. From now I don’t know what it is. But a liked the plant along the black background of the lake. There is also a reflection of an insolent heron.

I don't know what the plant is either Ruud, but I like the photo. Excellent exposure, and the reflection of the heron as well makes it something special.

Looks strangely like cotton. Ask an Irishman, it may be flax.
Cheeky heron! You didn't add it?
Crisp image.

Hi Ruud,

Wonderful capture!! Looks like some cotton or a old main's hair :) The reflection is a bonus :) TFS.

Kiran.

Never ask Ruud if he added something! Haha.
But the bird makes the picture in my taste; spooky and watching; because you want to show both objects I would have cropped them in more portrait style I think; eg only the right part of this picture; just an suggestion....

The composition of the photograph is really original, I like much the unit: "légéreté" of the plant on contrast of a rather dark vegetation, with in more one diffuse gray blue which highlights the reflection of the heron, tfs!

Hi Ruud & Happy 2006!

I like the graphism of the cotton like plant against the dark bg. The reflection of the heron is a perfect addition. Good work!

composes very well
Congratulations

I thought it was some kind of strange poodle.
